Every translation is delivered with a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy stating that the translation is complete and accurate and that the translator is competent to translate from Japanese into English, with the translation date, translator name, signature, contact details, and qualifications. This is the format required by USCIS, UKVI, and the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

USCIS requires a full English translation with the translator’s certification of completeness, accuracy, and competence (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)). No accreditation body membership, notarization, or US residency is required. Our certificate follows this format.

UKVI requires the translator’s written confirmation that the translation is accurate, the date, the translator’s full name and signature, and contact details. Applications made from inside the UK additionally require the translator’s credentials. Our certificate includes all of these.

No, and for translations prepared outside Australia none is required. The Department of Home Affairs states that translators outside Australia do not have to be NAATI accredited; instead the translation must state the translator’s name, address, telephone number, and qualifications and experience. Our certificate states them. Note: Australian state authorities (driver licensing, births/deaths/marriages registries) have separate rules and only accept designated providers — we cannot translate for those purposes.

IRCC accepts translations by a translator who is fluent in both languages when accompanied by an affidavit sworn before a notary public in the translator’s country. We prepare the translation and the affidavit and have it notarized in Japan. Because notarization has fixed costs, Canada orders are quoted individually.

No one can — acceptance is always at the discretion of the receiving authority. What we do is prepare the translation to the published requirements of that authority, and correct any translation error free of charge if one is ever found.

A clear scan or photo of each document, the destination country and receiving authority, and the official romanization of personal names if one exists (as in a passport). That’s all.

For Canada (IRCC) orders, yes — the affidavit is notarized in Japan as part of the order. We do not provide US notarization; USCIS does not require it.
